Repair the mistake.
Then do it without choices.

A local workflow for repairing algebra and writing the requested step on a new, changed-structure problem. Keep the original questions and the help used, not just the final score.

Open Transfer Path · Original Classic checker · Source and tests · Full method and setup

Under-two-minute recording of actual app actions. Synthetic work and stock synthetic narration. No learner study or measured learning gain.

The workflow, not another answer box

Worked solution → exact first divergence → neural family suggestion or manual choice → fixed-problem repair → typed next step → changed-structure card → question-aware tutor note

The trained model chooses among practice families. It does not generate mathematical verdicts. An exact solution-set check plus a requested-form check rejects a final answer when the question asked for an intermediate expansion. Worked examples stay labelled assisted after reopening.

What changed from the original

The original practice showed two answer buttons. Transfer Path asks the learner to write the equation, then changes the layout, signs or inner expression. The new note includes each task, response, revision and help request. The original exact checker and model weights are unchanged.

Evidence, not outcome claims

Executed release gates · Independent task/form comparison · Actual Transfer Path browser checks · Demo transcript

These are internal software checks on authored synthetic tasks. They do not establish learning retention, teacher approval or accurate diagnosis of real students. The next gate is authorized teacher review and usability testing, not an invented adoption statistic.

Two to twelve linear equations in x; one-solution repair paths; five authored practice families. Inputs stay in the page. Exported histories are editable personal records, not authenticated grades. No account, API key, cloud inference or large model download.
